Angelina Jolie is… MALEFICENT?!

Believe it or not movie fans, you heard me right: Angelina Jolie, the sultry star-studded actress and wife of Hollywood heartthrob hunk Brad Pitt, turns to a darker shade in this newly magical dark humored version of Sleeping Beauty

In this new adaptation in the borrowed traditions of Megamind and Wreck It Ralph, Jolie revitalizes the infamous dark fairy as a once good girl gone bad to the bone. whatever reasons are as yet to be revealed. so… as you may know from the original story. Maleficent enters castle, curses Aurora, who is played by none other than Elle Fanning, now more grown up and with a very realistic English accent

Yep, she looks just like her big sis Dakota Fanning! Anyway, Maleficent is shunned by the townspeople due to… well, let's just say she's… different. Anyway, Aurora starts to understand Maleficent's loneliness and tries to bond with her. can you say big, BIG mistake?! Just take a wild guess what happens next…

…Yup. and you know how the story ends and Maleficent may not have her own happy ending… or WILL she?! the answers will be revealed next summer. also appearing as King Stefan, Aurora's father is none other than Sharlto Coperly from Elysium

Also keep your eyes wide open, its also been announced that Jolie's daughter Viveene may have a role in the flick. So keep your calendars marked, as Maleficent slithers into your local theaters May 30, 2014. And one more thing… take a look at Jolie's eye color
