Olympus Has Fallen

In the honored tradition of action-packed films, like Die Hard and Rambo, comes the newest shoot-em up film from Antoine Fuqua called Olympus Has Fallen
Set in the present day, this thrilling epic features our main hero Mike Banning (played by who else than Gerard Butler from 300) as the President's head Secret Service officer.

(The President himself is played by Aaron Eckhart; aka Harvey Dent from the Dark Knight, the First Lady being Ashley Judd).
Banning was the top dog of the White House security, and all it took was one car accident gone horribly wrong thus resulting in the demise of the First Lady, and subsequently; Banning's expulsion from the Service
A few days later after the incident; things are back and running at Washington; only to have impending doom arrive in the form of commando terrorrists lead by a brutal warmonger (Rick Yune from Man with the Iron Fists) who holds the entire White House hostage for -what else?- money and power. If the government refuses...well, let's just say they'll need 2 new replacements for the President and First Lady. Not if our hero Banning has anything to say about it!

While Speaker Trumbull (Morgan Freeman, the Dark Knight trilogy) and Secret Service director Lynn Jacobs (Angela Bassett, Green Lantern) try to negotiate with the unruly White House gatecrashers, Banning decides to take matters into his own hands and bring the thugs down- by lethal methods, if the circumstances seem necessary.

Featuring Dylan McDermott, Melissa Leo (The Fighter) and Radha Mitchell (Surrogates) and some explosive special effects, Olympus Has Fallen is the MUST-SEE action flick for Spring Break! Olympus Has Fallen explodes into theatres nationwide March 22nd.

Jack the Giant Slayer

Who could ever forget that wonderful story about a boy, some magic beans, a humungous beanstalk and a powerful and dangerous giant? Well, after what seems like 70 years, the story continues, and thanks to Bryan Singer, the genius director of X-Men comes the new version of the classic tale fittingly called Jack the Giant Slayer

Set in the Middle Ages; the film features the main character called, of course, Jack (played by Nicholas Hoult, Warm Bodies), a young farmhand who is in love with a beautiful heiress (Eleanor Tomlinson) despite opposition from her curmudgeonly father and king (Ian McShane, Pirates of the Caribbean) who does NOT like her daughter mingling with a simple farmboy. One fateful day, when Jack discovers small beans and plants them...it inadvertantly unleashes a towering beanstalk (like in the story) that takes both Jack's house...and the princess and into the waiting hands of some very strong and very, VERY grouchy giants who plan to squish our heroes into the dust
Teaming with a valiant knight (Ewan McGregor, the Star Wars trilogy)and the king's finest soldiers, Jack ventures into the giants' domain to rescue the love of his life, and most importantly, try to stop a war between man and giant
Unfortunately, things dont look good when the king's greedy advisor Rochefort (Stanley Tucci, Captain America: The First Avenger) decides to lead the giants into battle and claim the throne for himself! As if that wasnt worse, it looks like the giants' commanding officer Fallon (Bill Nighy, Pirates of the Caribbean) and his extra-head companion (John Kassir, Tales from the Crypt)have a HUGE personal bone to pick with Jack, mistaking him for his father, who stole the golden goose and eggs. (Again, referring to the original story. Exciting, eh?) Now with the battle lines drawn and danger and impending disaster coming from all corners, it appears that Jack is the kingdom's only hope to save them from one GIANT problem (No pun intended)
Featuring dynamic special effects, eye-popping 3D animation and some GIANT thrills and surprises, Jack the Giant Slayer is one epic film that's guaranteed to be Fe-Fi-Fo FUN for the whole family!
Jack the Giant Slayer is now blooming at your local theatres. So bring your family along, hop on a beanstalk and sit back and relax for an adventure you'll NEVER forget.
